Llynfi Hotel

Terry and Terryanne welcome you to their comfortable family friendly Hotel which occupies an elevated position in Ventnor Town on The Isle of Wight. The Llynfi Hotel is A Victorian Hotel of great character built around 1830. The Feature Conservatory and entrance originating from 1877, has now been sympathetically replaced by a local conservatory firm. We are extremely pleased to have retained the Victorian look and feel of the hotel whilst enjoying the added benifits of double glazing. We do our best to look after you and your family during your stay and we hope that you find your holiday enjoyable and want to stay longer and come again.

About Ventnor

Ventnor is a seaside resort established in the Victorian era on the south coast of the Isle of Wight, off the southern coast of England. It lies underneath St Boniface Down, and is built on steep slopes and cliffs leading down to the sea. The higher part is referred to as upper Ventnor; the lower part, where most of the amenities are located, being known as Ventnor. Ventnor can sometimes include the villages of St. Lawrence and on the other side of town the village of Bonchurch. The sheltered location on the cliff of the island's south coast means the area experiences a microclimate with more sunny days than much of the British Isles, and fewer frosts. This has allowed many species of subtropical plant to be successfully planted and maintained. Ventnor Botanic Garden is particularly notable.
